ALL ABOUT LIZARDS!

This week both 3 year old groups had a visit from The Lizard Wizard. We were able to learn about some native animals close up and even touch them.  We saw snakes, blue tongued lizards, bearded dragons, a turtle, a scorpion, green tree frogs and a baby sugar glider that was sooooooo cute.

This was a wonderful opportunity for the children to discover what the animals eat, where they like to live and how their skin feels.  We learned about nocturnal animals and cold blooded/warm blooded animals. Learning about our wildlife helps to build a connection with our environment and develop respect for living creatures.
