AUTISM INCLUSION TEACHER

Hello from the Autism Teacher,

As we reach the end of the year, I want to send a big thank you to our parents and caregivers, our fantastic HEPS staff, and of course our amazing students. I’m so grateful for the way you’ve welcomed me into this role and for the support you’ve shown throughout my first year as the Autism Inclusion Teacher. This year has been exciting and full of learning, and I’ve truly appreciated the chats, the laughs, and the teamwork we’ve shared. I can’t wait to build on everything we’ve started and continue this journey together next year.

To finish the year, I want to share a great little resource from Yellow Ladybugs called “So You Know an Autistic Person.” It’s a friendly guide for grandparents, extended family, and friends, created with real love and lived experience.
