END OF YEAR WRAP UP

T4 2025

As we reach the end of another school year, I would like to take this opportunity to reflect on 2025 and share some important news and fond farewells with our school community.

This year has been filled with many meaningful learning experiences, successes, and community connections. Our students have grown not only academically, but also socially and emotionally, thanks to the efforts of our wonderful staff, supportive families, and school community.

Farewell to Steve Brine

We say a heartfelt farewell to Steve Brine, who will be taking up a teaching position at a nearby school next year. Steve has been with us this year teaching PE one day per week and worked across all classes when staff have had training or other commitments. We thank Steve for his cheerful presence and support for our school during his time with us and wish him all the very best for the next chapter of his career.

Congratulations and Happy Retirement to Mrs Sue Dunn

We also say goodbye to Mrs Sue Dunn, who is retiring after many years of dedicated service to education. Mrs Dunn’s genuine care, wisdom, and unwavering support have shaped countless students’ lives and inspired colleagues across our school. It is hard to put into words the contribution Mrs Dunn has made during her time at Hackham East Primary School. We thank her for her commitment, her kindness, and her countless hours of dedication to our children and families. We wish Mrs Dunn every happiness as she embarks on this well-deserved new chapter of life.

On behalf of our school community, we thank both Steve and Mrs Dunn for their contributions and extend our very best wishes for the future.

Thank you again to all families for your support throughout 2025. Wishing you and your children a safe, restful, and joyful summer break. We look forward to welcoming you back in 2026.

Warm regards,

Ms Sally

Principal
