School Sports - What's Happening

DIVISIONAL CROSS COUNTRY

We had an awesome day at the Divisional Cross Country at the Bendigo Racecourse, with 35 students from Grades 3 to 6 giving it their all in perfect sunny running weather. Everyone showed great effort, great attitudes and plenty of smiles along the way. There was heaps of family support around the track, and the kids really appreciated the support on the day, I'm sure it settled their nerves. A special shout‑out to our 9‑year‑old runners — Hannah B, Ruby A and Matilda M — who all finished in the top 10. Even though only the 10‑year‑olds and above move on to the next level, their results were seriously impressive and something they should be really proud of.

A big congratulations as well to Indy B (6th), Ollie A (9th) and Amy V (12th), who have all qualified to represent Holy Rosary at the next level in St Arnaud — such an exciting achievement. All of our students did Holy Rosary proud with the way they ran, supported each other and carried themselves throughout the day. Their efforts show just how strong our school community is and how much talent we have in our young athletes. Well done to all students. A big thank you also to Mrs Taylor, Mr Morris and Anthony Gray for their help on the day.
