Work Experience is one week of unpaid work to gain insight into the world of work. It's more observational than practical, and aims to provide students with the valuable opportunity to
- develop employability skills (see section 5)
- explore possible career options
- understand employer expectations
- increase their self-understanding, maturity, independence, and self-confidence
