Poster competition - Yarra Valley Water

The 2025 National Water Week Poster Competition is still open!

🎨 Get your pencils, paintbrushes, or tablets ready — the National Water Week Poster Competition is back! This year’s theme is ‘Water Heroes: Save Every Drop’. 💧

To celebrate National Water Week (20–26 October 2025), we’re inviting all creative kids from early learning to Year 6 to join in and show us what being a Water Hero means to them! Whether it’s a colourful drawing, a clever painting, or a cool digital design, show us your water-saving superpowers. 🤩

To enter, just snap a photo of your poster (A3 or A4 size) and upload it using the link below. https://www.nationalwaterweek.com.au/yarra-valley-water

Changing dimensions

Students have continued to explore their clay skills by using clay to create forms with the techniques of coiling and creating slabs. They have learned how to successfully join pieces of clay prior to kiln firing, using the score and slip method.

Students have begun exploring the art technique of design and are working on drawing a two-dimensional sketch design that can be made into a three-dimensional clay sculpture.

Have a lovely weekend
