Parent Teacher Night Thank You
Thank you to all those parents when attended our final parent teacher evening on August 10th. Although not as well attended as the semester one night, it was pleasing to see parents turning up and showing interest in their child's education by meeting up with teachers to review student progress.
If you have any concerns regarding your child's education as the remainder of the year progresses, please feel free to contact the school and make an appointment with the appropriate staff member.
Regards,

Grade 6 Transition Night
Donald High School recently welcomed a good number of prospective Grade 6 students and their parents to our Grade 6 Transition Night. It was a wonderful opportunity for families to learn more about what to expect as students make the exciting move into Year 7 in 2027.
During the evening, students and parents received information about Year 7, including what school life will look like and the opportunities available to our new students. Families were also taken on a tour of the school, giving prospective students the chance to explore the classrooms, facilities and wider school grounds.
The evening concluded with a relaxed cuppa and a chocolate chip biscuit, with many families staying afterwards to chat, ask questions and get to know members of our school community.
We thank all the prospective students and families who attended and look forward to welcoming our new Year 7 students in 2027. We hope everyone left the evening feeling informed, excited and ready for the next step in their secondary school journey.

Year 7 Level Leader
