Metropolitan West Track & Field Trials 2026

We are incredibly proud of our 9 Ironside students who represented our school at the Metropolitan West Track & Field Trials, held on Tuesday 1 and Wednesday 2 September at the Queensland Sport and Athletic Centre (QSAC).

Our athletes competed against talented students from across the region, demonstrating fantastic determination, sportsmanship and commitment throughout the trials. We are thrilled to celebrate that 6 of our athletes achieved new personal bests (PBs). This is an outstanding accomplishment and a wonderful reflection of their hard work and dedication.

A special congratulations goes to Chloe Lam, who was selected for the Metropolitan West Track and Field Team for discus and will now progress to compete at the Queensland Track and Field Trials. This is a fantastic achievement, and we wish Chloe all the very best as she takes on this exciting next challenge!
