Grade 1 visits Nangak Tamboree Wildlife Sanctuary

The Grade 1s had a wonderful day exploring Nangak Tamboree Wildlife Sanctuary, getting hands-on with nature and discovering more about the amazing wildlife around them.

Throughout the day, students took part in four exciting activities:

  • Searching for and identifying minibeasts in pond water.
  • Building nesting boxes for different animals.
  • Exploring the wilderness, with some lucky classes even getting up close to an emu!
  • Planting grass and searching for minibeasts in the soil, uncovering plenty of tiny creatures along the way.

It was a fantastic day of learning, exploring and connecting with nature, and the Grade 1s thoroughly enjoyed every moment.
