Prayer & Acknowledgements

Feast of the Assumption – 15th August.
August 15th is a special day in the Church’s calendar. It is the day we remember the end of Mary’s life when she was taken up into heaven, body and soul. It is known as the Feast of the Assumption.
Prayer:
Dear God,
We pray that, like Mary, we will have faith that God will keep his promises.
We pray for joyful hearts to do whatever God asks of us.
We pray for kindness to visit friends or family members who are lonely.
We pray that we will thank God for the wonderful gifts we enjoy.
Amen
Happy Birthday to the students who celebrate their birthdays from August 19th to September 9th 2026.
