A Christmas Carol
Earlier this term, our IMPACT and Drama students attended their final show excursion for 2025. A Christmas Carol was a magical experience and the perfect way to welcome the Christmas season.
Although we were only able to see the beginning of the performance due to technical difficulties (we’ll be heading back in a couple of weeks!), the students were still treated to a special moment — meeting Lachy Hulme, who is currently starring as Scrooge.
A memorable day all round! 🎄✨

Christmas Carols in Federation Square
On the first day of December, a group of students from our junior campus travelled to Melbourne to spread some Christmas cheer. Along the way, we visited the Myer Christmas windows and created our own LEGO Christmas decorations.
At 12:30, a wonderful crowd gathered as our students sang Christmas carols beside the big tree in Federation Square. Lots of applause, lots of singing, and a truly joyful start to the Christmas season! 🎄✨

WICKED FOR GOOD
After last year’s wonderful trip to the movies to see Wicked: Part 1, it was finally time to return for Wicked: For Good — the exciting sequel!
Eighty-five students and staff enjoyed our own private screening and a wickedly great afternoon together. 💚🎬✨

IMPACT
Over the past couple of weeks, our Year 7–10 IMPACT students visited Metartworld — an incredible immersive art gallery featuring sculptures made entirely from scrap metal and recycled materials.
As an interactive art space, Metartworld allowed students to touch, explore, and even sit in many of the sculptures, making the experience both engaging and memorable. It was a fantastic opportunity to see creativity and sustainability come together in inspiring ways! 🌟🎨♻️

Promotional Video in the Escape Rooms
Last week, some of our Year 10 IMPACT and VCE Drama students took part in a promotional video for Escape Rooms Geelong!
In teams of five, students attempted to escape the Mystery Dinosaur Island and Mystery Toy Shop rooms to uncover the hidden treasures.
They had a fantastic time working together, solving puzzles, and showcasing their creativity. We can’t wait to see them in the final video helping to promote the Mystery Rooms!
