Scholarships

Students from across Northern Bay College’s five campuses have been recognised with local, state, and national scholarships, reflecting their ability to compete confidently with peers nationwide. Tracking students identified early in their learning has been rewarding, with many continuing to excel academically, maintain strong attendance, and develop as positive leaders. Encouragingly, students who did not initially receive scholarships have also gone on to earn later opportunities through feedback and support.

On 5 November, twenty-two students from the 2026–27 Year 7 and 8 cohort were celebrated at a scholarship presentation ceremony at the Goldsworthy Campus Theatre, attended by families and staff. We look forward to following their growth as they begin secondary school.

Key events included the Year 8 Graduation on 26 November, celebrating academic, leadership, and community achievements, and marking the graduation of eighteen 2024–25 scholars, and the Goldsworthy Awards Day on 16 December, recognising outstanding senior student achievements and the support of the Challenge Team.

We are deeply grateful to the Challenge Team for raising funds that expand access to scholarships and experiences. Beyond financial support, these scholarships foster aspiration, self-reflection, and excellence, laying the foundation for students to achieve success through further local, state, national, and international opportunities.
