From the Principal

Welcome back to Term 1, 2026, and the start of an exciting year ahead for our school community.

Over the past few weeks, we have had the pleasure of welcoming new members to our community for 2026, including 135 Year 7 students and 23 students across Years 8 to 12. We are delighted that our new students join us from across Australia and beyond, including interstate from the Northern Territory and Western Australia, as well as from New Zealand and other locations.

We also welcome our new staff, including our new Head of Teaching and Learning,

Mr Nigel Scoggins.

Over the past year, our College has continued to grow and develop as we build for the future. This has included the introduction of our Scholarships Program, the Junior School building project, and a strengthened Student Leadership Structure, who were installed at the Opening Service last week. Along with key curriculum and community initiatives, Intercollege Sport, the New Head of Village structure and such developments have strengthened the foundations of our College.

Over the holidays, we added a new Covered Outdoor Learning Area over the Eastern Yard basketball courts. This supports our ongoing work in improving our grounds through turf management and whole-school painting.

These upgrades reflect the pride we take in our environment, and I encourage everyone to respect and care for our facilities.

As we begin 2026, our focus is on growth and discovery with our theme for the year being Building people with God.

You have heard me talk about Excellence throughout 2025, excellence is not about being perfect, it is about effort, resilience, and a willingness to keep building your skills, building people, building your character, and your building your confidence.

We encourage our students and families to:

  • Give your best effort
  • Support and lift up those around you
  • Treat others the way you want to be treated
  • Strive to be the best version of yourself

Every day is an opportunity to live out the Endeavour Way and to build a community where everyone belongs and everyone can thrive.

As always, I am grateful to be leading this wonderful community and thank you for your support.

Welcome to 2026, let’s make it a great year.

Mr Richard Baird

Principal
