Child Safety Volunteer Induction
As part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all students, we have updated our volunteer induction process at Hampton Primary School.
From now on, parents and other community members volunteering at school will be required to acknowledge that you have read and familiarised yourself with a number of key Hampton Primary School policies and child safety resources.

The induction is designed to ensure everyone volunteering in our school community understands their role in keeping children safe, recognising concerns and knowing what to do if something doesn't feel right. It reinforces that everyone has a role to play in maintaining a safe, inclusive and respectful environment for our students.
Soccer Success
A huge congratulations to our Grade 5/6 Soccer team, who have once again won the regional competition and progressed through to the State Finals for the fourth consecutive year.
The regional final was an incredibly tense affair, with our students ultimately securing the win in a penalty shootout. To continue to perform at this level year after year is an outstanding achievement and a reflection of the commitment, skill and teamwork of our students.
A special thank you to Rob for coaching and leading the team throughout the season. We wish the students all the very best at the State Finals and hope they can add another victory to our tally of State Final wins!
Athletics Day
What a fantastic day we had at our Athletics Carnival! The weather was kind to us, the students showed plenty of enthusiasm and determination, and there was a wonderful sense of fun and sportsmanship throughout the day.
A huge thank you to all of our parent helpers who volunteered their time. Events such as these simply could not run as smoothly without the support of our parent community. Thank you also to Jordy and Chelsea for the enormous amount of organisation that went into making the day such a success, and to our teachers for getting involved, supporting students and helping create such a positive day for everyone.
There was plenty of healthy competition across the day, and we now look forward to finding out which House has taken out the Athletics Carnival when we announce the winner at an upcoming assembly!
Assembly
A quick reminder regarding our school assemblies, particularly as we have had a few cancellations recently due to weather.
Sometimes an assembly needs to be cancelled even when it isn't actually raining on the day. Our quadrangle receives no direct sunlight at this time of year, meaning that following wet weather the ground can take a considerable amount of time to dry and can remain unsuitable for students to sit on.
We have held 16 of a possible 23 assemblies so far this year, so whilst it may feel like we've had a few cancellations recently, we're still managing to get together reasonably regularly!
