Compass Chronicle Visibility

Compass Chronicle Visibility Update
At Melba College, families have had consistent access to Compass green chronicles. These are used to celebrate and acknowledge student achievement and growth. I am pleased to say these are continuing and that in reviewing these, we have seen many students doing great things across their subjects.
We are expanding this style of communication by adjusting visibility of our "Minor Behaviour Chronicles". These chronicles are used to track behaviours that do not match our positive behaviour expectations and document the approach for how we are supporting the student to improve. We believe that this is important data for families too, and that by communicating when there are issues that we can collaborate to support students.
These chronicles will also have a default email sent when they are lodged. These are to keep families in the loop and don't necessarily require a response to action. This will also speed up connection when a phone call may not be possible.
These are set to launch on Monday August 17. We believe these are a positive step to create a shared approach to supporting students and ensuring communication is clear and balanced.
