Welcome to Edition 8

What a great few weeks we have coming up! I encourage you to read about our Science Week, our focus on bullying with the Bullying No Way Week and our production, Seussical.

With our continuous cycle of improvement, we are launching our new communication items, commencing Monday 17 August. This includes parent visibility of minor behaviour chronicles and due dates on all learning tasks.

We still have our key focus areas, listed below, which ensures a calmer learning environment for everyone. We are very pleased with how this is going across the school.

• Entry and exit routines
• Students remaining in the classroom during lessons
• Students only leaving for toilet breaks, one at a time and with their diary
• Respectful behaviour and language
• Correct school uniform
• Building positive connections with students
• Consistent implementation of the Mobile Phone Policy
