Chess Team Celebrations

Congratulations to our talented 6th Grader, Xinyao (Dada) Fan, who recently competed in the Interschool Junior Chess Tournament at Brandon Park and brought home the Silver Medal, placing 2nd out of 150 participants! The tournament organised by Chess Ideas featured 27 schools from across Victoria, all vying for top honours in a highly competitive field. We’re incredibly proud of Dada’s achievement and the example he sets for aspiring chess players at our school! 

Coming Up: 

The Victorian Junior State Championship—the biggest chess tournament in the state—will be held from 17th to 19th July. This annual event offers participants a chance to compete for the title of the State Champion.
