Prep Writing

Last week, the Preps unpacked the different stages of a narrative using the mentor text 'Tiddalick the Frog'. They focused on retelling what happened using drawings and sentence starters like “In the beginning…”, "In the middle..." and “Then…”.  The students planned out their ideas using storyboards, helping them to organise their thoughts clearly before writing. 

It was wonderful to see their creativity shine as they brought the story to life in their own words and pictures. We're so proud of the confident storytellers they’re becoming!
