Middle School

The Year 3/4 students have made a wonderful start to the year by learning how to set their own learning goals, and it has been such a joy to watch this process unfold. Over the past few weeks, they have been reflecting on their strengths, identifying areas they want to grow in, and choosing goals that feel meaningful and achievable for them. This has helped them take real ownership of their learning and begin to understand themselves as capable, independent learners.
Students have been talking openly about what helps them learn best, what challenges them, and what they want to work towards next. Many have shown great maturity in selecting goals that stretch them just the right amount, and they are already showing pride in working towards these targets each day. It has been especially lovely to see the way they encourage one another, celebrate each other’s progress, and share strategies that help them stay focused and motivated.
This goal‑setting work is laying a strong foundation for the year ahead, and we are excited to continue supporting the students as they grow in confidence, independence, and self‑awareness.
