God's Love and Care for All

Our Lady's aspires to be a welcoming community unified by love, faith, hope and learning.

Term 4, Week 3

Dear Parents and Carers,

On Thursday, our soccer team, along with Mrs Glouftsis and super coaches Mr Cliff and Mr Graziano, attended Kolbe College for the launch of Kolbe's international partnership with Liverpool Football Club International Academy (LFC IA). Needless to say, our students were excited to be part of this event, and we thank Kolbe College for inviting us to attend.

Our Year 6 held their mini fete today. This is always an exciting part of our school year. Our students have been eagerly organizing and planning  their stalls and through their economics unit, they are hoping to make a profit!!  It’s a fantastic opportunity for our students to develop leadership and teamwork skills while having fun and supporting a great cause. Some of the proceeds from the Mini Fete will be donated to Catholic Mission, supporting the important work they do in communities all around the world. We welcome our new Preps for 2026 during our Headstart Program commencing in Week 3. This is always an exciting time for our school community to meet both our new and current families who will be joining OLPS.

This week we welcomed our 2026 Prep children and families as they commence their educational journey at Our Lady's which begins with our Headstart Program. Over the next 4 weeks parents and students will have an opportunity to meet other families and staff of Our Lady’s community as well as learning more about our school.

Our Year 6 students and teachers will be heading to camp next week to The Ranch on the Mornington Peninsula. The camp program involves horse riding, giant swing, flying fox, archery, and rock climbing. I’m sure everyone will have a good night’s sleep on Wednesday night. I would like to thank our Year 6 teachers Ms O’Keefe,  Ms Phi, Mr Nario, Ms Georgantonis and our additional staff Mrs Glouftsis, Mrs Hurford, Miss Audino, Miss Kettle, Miss Heenan and Mr Graziano for attending and supporting our students.
