Girl Power in Engineering and IT

Girl Power In Engineering and IT is a program run through Melbourne University that aims to inspire the next generation of women in engineering and IT.
It is an amazing four year program that includes a three night camp on the Melbourne University Campus in year nine, a week of work experience in year ten, and a mentor throughout years eleven and twelve.
Prior to applying to the program, students must attend the STEM Edge workshop at Melbourne University through their school in year seven or eight. The program provides a unique and incredibly valuable opportunity for girls that intend to study and pursue a STEM field. The most recent camp occurred during the recent school holidays, attendees were able to learn engineering concepts, speak to industry leaders and make lifelong friendships with other students in the program.
The program is truly an amazing experience that any girl interested in STEM should apply.
Applications are open to all year nine girls who have attended STEM Edge, and will open during April 2027, if you are a current year eight girl that would like to pursue engineering or IT I fully recommend this program, I had an amazing time at the recent camp and received advice I will remember for all my life.
If you would like to apply please see the Melbourne University Website for more details. https://eng.unimelb.edu.au/engage-with-us/schools/girl-power-in-eng-and-it
