World Teachers Day

Gallery Image

Today we celebrate World Teachers' Day: A special occasion to recognise and thank our incredible teachers for the passion, care, and dedication they bring to our classrooms every single day.

Sometimes in the busyness of life and school we forget to thank our teachers for their work. For most of the day, they play the role of: educator, counsellor, confidante, coach, mentor, nurse, referee, mediator, therapist, detective, peacemaker, entertainer, and even Director of Lost Property.

So let’s celebrate our teachers and thank them for all the work they do to educate, inspire and empower our children.

From lightbulb moments to helping someone find their way, teachers make a difference in ways big and small. This World Teachers' Day, we’re putting that impact in the spotlight. We’d love you to share a moment when a teacher made a difference in your life and help Shine a light on the amazing work they do.

If you’re posting on social media, use #WorldTeachersDay2026 and tag @aitsl to be part of the celebrations.

Year 5/6 Camp

What a wonderful time our Year 5/6 students had at Camp Marysville last week. It was a chance to try new activities, spend time with friends and make memories together.

We are proud of the way our students embraced new challenges, encouraged one another and showed teamwork throughout camp. Their enthusiasm helped make it a special experience for everyone.

Fees and Levies 2026

Thank you to all families who are up to date with fee and levy payments for 2026. This is a reminder that (unless you are on a payment plan) fees and levies for the 2026 school year need to be finalised by Friday, 20th November.

Changes to School Fees in 2027

As detailed in the communication emailed to families this week, Corpus Christi School will introduce a tiered family fee structure from 2027, as part of a system-wide change across Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS).

The new structure includes a tuition fee for the first child, with smaller additional amounts for siblings. This approach shares costs more fairly while supporting the quality teaching, resources and care our children receive.

The 2027 fee structure has been developed following extensive consultation and careful consideration with the MACS Finance Team and our MACS Business Partner, ensuring alignment with the MACS 2027 Operational Guidelines. Throughout these discussions, our priority has been to establish a fair, sustainable and responsible fee structure that supports the ongoing needs of our school while remaining mindful of the financial pressures facing families.

Beginning in the 2027 school year, our annual tuition fee structure will be:

Enrolled ChildrenAnnual Family Tuition Fee
1 Child$1950
2 Children$2050
3+ Children$2150

In addition to tuition, an annual Capital Levy of $400 per family and Curriculum Levy of $600per child will apply.

Payments and payment plans can be managed through CDFpay.

We recognise the pressures on family budgets. Confidential fee relief and support remain available for Health Care Card holders and families experiencing financial hardship.

Please refer to this week’s email for full details, or contact me directly with any questions or to discuss support in confidence.
