This term, our Year 5/6 students have been exploring the fascinating history of Australian Federation and learning about how and why Australia became a nation. 

Students investigated the reasons both for and against Federation, explored significant events that influenced the decision to unite the colonies and considered why these events were so important. 

They also learned about key individuals who played a role in Federation. They created their own ‘Federator Player Cards’ which showcase interesting facts about these influential figures and their contributions to Australia becoming a nation.
