Year 6 Graduation Dinner

Today we sent an SMS through to Y6 parents to ensure you put your order in for our Y6 Graduation Dinner before Monday the 8th of December (next week).  This is when we need to send our numbers through to Club Quirindi.  We have very few orders in and we are not able to accept orders after this date.  You can choose any week day date in Compass between now and the 8th to enter your order.

Library

All library books must be returned to school this week. Please help your child to find these books to avoid having to pay the cost of replacing any lost items.  

Attendance

We have noticed that student attendance has dropped off slightly as the school year concludes. We urge all families to ensure students remain committed to attending every day until the last bell. Your child's continued presence is vital for consolidating their learning, and we are keen to finish the year strongly by maintaining the excellent attendance record we have all worked so hard to achieve.

👕 Uniform Swap Shop:  Girls' Summer Uniforms

Thank you to the families who have supported our request for uniform items.  We still have quite a shortfall of girls summer uniforms so if you have any items your daughter has outgrown (but are still in good condition), we would genuinely appreciate your donation.

Donating helps other families and is a great way to recycle quality clothing. Thank you in advance for  supporting the Swap Shop!

We also ask that donations are made prior to the last day of the school year if possible.  This will give us enough time to put them away before the holidays begin. 

🗓️ Upcoming School Calendar: Weeks 8 - 10

Please mark your calendars with the important dates and events below.

Week 8: December 1st - 5th

• Monday: School Counsellor onsite.

                     Year 5 students present their Captain Speech at 2.00pm in the school library.                       Parents welcome to attend.

• Tuesday:  Quirindi High School Orientation Day for Year 6 students
• Wednesday: Swimming (11:30 am - 1:00 pm)
• Thursday: Presentation Day (9:15 am) in the Fr Stan Campbell Hall, followed by farewell morning tea for Mrs Long.  All students need to be at school by 8:50am for roll call and to be ready to walk to the hall and be seated by 9am.  

• Friday: Kinder Readiness

                  All library books need to be back at school by today

  Year 6 Graduation Dinner Orders are due today -  Order via Compass/Canteen

Week 9: December 8th - 12th

• Sunday: Family Mass (9:30 am)  Please fill in the Compass permissions if your child is attending or declining the event.
• Monday:  Year 6 Graduation Dinner Orders are due today -  Order via Compass/Canteen
• Tuesday: School Counsellor onsite

• Wednesday: Swimming (11:30 am - 1:00 pm). 

                           School Counsellor onsite

• Thursday:  Christmas Week begins

• Friday: Kinder Readiness - Last Day.  

                  End of Year Mass and Year 6 Farewell Mass 9.30am All Welcome

  Week 10: December 15th - 17th

• Monday: Moving Up Day Years K- Yr 5 - 9.00am -11.00am; School Counsellor onsite; Year 6 Graduation Dinner (5:30 pm)

• Tuesday: Year 6 Big Day Out - Permissions and payment via Compass

  K-Year 5 attend mass at 9.30am 

• Wednesday: Swimming (11:30 am - 1:00 pm). Last Day for Students

A Quick Review of the Pick-Up Procedure

• Parents/Carers, please come to the gate to collect your child.

• Students will remain seated on the bench seats inside the fence until they are individually dismissed.
