Literacy

Our Young Author's Creativity

Our Literacy classes swapped textbook analysis for the thrilling process of creation, challenging our students to craft original Christmas narratives. The goal was to master key elements of storytelling: dynamic characters, vivid descriptive language, and compelling plot structure. We are incredibly proud of the results, which truly capture the varied magic of the holiday season, from quiet moments of reflection to hilarious, unexpected adventures.

Numeracy

In Maths, we have been focusing on two important life skills: understanding money and time. Students have been estimating the length of specific time intervals, working out elapsed time, and calculating and adding money amounts.

Swimming

We have now begun our swimming program, and it’s off to a great start! The students are enthusiastic and enjoying the chance to learn new water safety skills while staying cool in the summer heat. We also had a fantastic few weeks of tennis sessions earlier this term, where students built confidence, coordination, and a love for the game.
