Dear Parents and Guardians,
We understand that at times there may be processes and decisions made by the school that you may wish to query.
We ask that you follow the CEDB (Catholic Education Diocese of Bathurst) policy around this.
We ask that all requests for meetings with Classroom Teachers, Assistant Principal or Principal be put in writing to mcauleyorange@bth.catholic.edu.au as per flow chart below.
We encourage open dialogue in this space and appreciate your constructive feedback to make our school a safe and supportive environment for all in our community. Please find attached the link to the Diocesan Policy as well as a snapshot of the flowchart for raising concerns.
CEDB Policies and Procedures here.

We understand that the morning drop-off can be be very stressful when needing to do more that one stop before heading to work in the mornings. However, for the safety of our students we do ask that you don't double park or rush when dropping off your child.
Entry Duty
A reminder that Byng St and Hill St gates open for supervision at 8:35am.
A teacher is at Hill St gate from 8:25am purely for the supervision of 'early bus' students.
Families who need to drop children off earlier are asked to use the Before School OSHC service.
We ask that all parents and carers use the crossing on Byng St and Hill St in the mornings and afternoons. This assists in alleviating unencessary congestion and the safety of our community.
Exit Duty
The gates at both Hill St and Byng St will open at 3:10pm.
Parents are asked to walk in, locate their child, and collect them directly.
Walkers
Students walking home will be able to leave as soon as the bell goes and are expected to cross as school crossings to exit the school.
Bikes and Scooters
Students with bikes or scooters will cross with the walkers.
Bikes and scooters must be walked until students have exited the school grounds and are clear of buses and collecting families.
Students must show a teacher that their helmet is securely fitted before leaving the school grounds.
Important Safety Reminders
Pedestrian crossings must always be used by both parents and students. Crossing near the bus bay or through traffic is extremely dangerous.
Children must not be left unattended in cars.
Please hold the hand of toddlers and young children when entering and exiting the school grounds.
Thank you for your cooperation and support with these procedures. Your partnership is so valued as we continue to prioritise student safety and work towards a calm, orderly and secure start and end to each school day.
We love having families involved in our school community. If you have time to help in the classroom, at events, or behind the scenes, we’d be thrilled to have you join us.
Please email mcauleyorange@bth.catholic.edu.au if you would like to be involved!
Thank you to Mrs Croke, Mrs Forbes and Mrs Allan for organsing the CMCPS display at the Orange Show.
