Happy Holidays!

I hope you are able to enjoy a restful break with your children over the next 2 weeks. All programs have finished this week and the community hub is now closed for the school holidays. I have included some other activities happening in the community that you can take your children to at the bottom of this page!

Playgroup

It has been an exciting last week of playgroup. This week we had Oral Health students from Adelaide Dental School come to run activities to teach children and families how to best look after their teeth. Children were gifted with their own teeth-brushing kit.

Children have been diligently looking after our garden, watering each time they come to playgroup. We are starting to see some growth! Promise of things to come!!

Speaking of growth.. our playgroup egg has been growing and on Wednesday this week it has started to crack! We have got a sneak peek of what our playgroup Mascot will be. Can't wait for it to fully hatch when we're back next Term!! Playgroup will return Term 4 week 2, 23rd of October.

OzHarvest N.E.S.T program

Next Term beginning week 3 we will have OzHarvest coming to run their nutrition and cooking program. The program will run for 6 weeks on Tuesdays from 10-12:30pm and include nutrition education, cooking, and eating the food we've cooked! There are limited places available for this program so please contact me if you would like to sign up.

Community Event and School Holiday Activities

Touch a Truck day at Regency Reserve. Saturday 7th of October from 10am-2pm. Explore the inner workings of council vehicles, emergency vehicles at this free family event!
