Learning At St Brigid's

Today the 4/5 and 5/6's were very fortunate to have Alex Starling visit our school. Alex is an American-Australian professional basketball player who has just been signed to the Adelaide 36ers of the National Basketball League. 

Last year Alex came out last year to teach the students all about basketball and we are so fortunate that we have continued to build on our relationship as he returned today to continue to teach us about ball control, building endurance, and improving our skills. The students were very excited to learn from one of the best. 

As well as teaching the students all about basketball, Alex taught them the importance of having a growth mindset, not just in sports but in all aspects of life. The students walked away with signatures, smiles, and a strong belief in their potential for development. It was a highly engaging and successful learning experience!
