NSW Schools MTB Series

Calrossy's secondary Mountain Biking Team took out the recent Round 5 of the Focus Bikes NSW Schools MTB Series which was held in Tamworth. In a day of outstanding results Jock Barwick and Rebecca Sams secured first place in Cross Country and Funduro for their age. Cameron McDonald also made it to the podium in both categories. Harrison Crowley also rode well, finishing just outside the top 20.

The Calrossy Primary Team finished fourth overall. Lucas McDonald dominated, securing first place in Cross Country and Funduro. Eliza McDonald, Rory Simm and Callum Lockwood showed commendable performances finishing just outside the podium positions.

A big thanks to the wonderful images obtained by Vivid Imagination and the support of parents on the day.

Seniors Rugby Night

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the Seniors Rugby Night at Scully Park last Friday. The atmosphere was electric, and the standard of rugby was set by the Junior School students who ran out with such pride and supported the pink sock theme for the evening. Thank you to our P & F volunteers who cooked the BBQ, Boarding staff and students who manned the gates and canteen and Junior School students who ran the water for the games. Along with our Alumni who also showed their support and encouraged the students on and off the field.

I would like to also mention the volunteers from Serendipity Tamworth who came along to support but who do so much work across our community raising awareness and funds that stay locally supporting local women.

Our event raised $3000 and the night was a fitting send off for the Year 12 students who played their last game for Calrossy and have given their all for the rugby program over their time at School.

Congratulations to everyone involved on a fantastic community building night !
