!! Dance Week !!

Last week our school came to life with upbeat music and groovy dance moves as students

 began learning their performances for this year’s Dance Extravaganza!

We are very fortunate to be working with two incredible visiting choreographers – local talent Lauren Grant, owner of In Motion Dance Studio, as well as Aleeta Northey, a professional choreographer with an impressive career including So You Think You Can Dance, the TV Week Logie Awards, NRL Grand Finals and various music videos.

All students have shown great enthusiasm and commitment to their dances and we can’t wait to see their hard work and creativity shine on stage. 

Staff v Student Soccer

The staff and students went head-to-head on the soccer field last Friday. Both teams gave it their all, but the students proved tough competition with the final score locked at 1–1. There were plenty of powerful kicks, a few cheeky hand balls, and lots of big laughs along the way!

This week, schools Australia wide celebrate Teacher’s Aide Appreciation Week! Join us in saying a big THANK YOU to our wonderful Education Assistants and Aboriginal Education Assistants for all they do to support our students and teachers every day!!
