Wakakirri Performance

A huge congratulations to our Wakakirri troupe for their performance on Friday night, August 8th.  We had 46 students involved in the story-dance production. The troupe is open to Reception to Year 6 students. We are so proud of you all! The feedback from the Wakakirri event organisers is below:

"A unique and powerful production. This work carried a tough and important message, portrayed with clarity and creative props and movements. It was wonderful to see how much fun everyone seemed to be having on stage, while still showing such dedication to their roles. You tackled a difficult conversation with sensitivity and skill. Well done to the entire team. " Kate Burgess, Wakakirri Ambassador.

The team also won some awards:

• Storytelling Award for a Great Story

• Ensemble Award for Acting Performance

• Stage Managers award for Teamwork (on-stage and off-stage)
