Keeping Our School Community Healthy

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

As we continue to prioritise the health and well-being of our students and staff, we would like to remind everyone of the importance of keeping children at home if they are unwell. This simple yet crucial step helps ensure a safe and healthy environment for all.

When children attend school while unwell, they risk spreading illnesses to classmates and staff. This can lead to increased absences and disrupt learning for everyone. By keeping your child at home when they show signs of illness, you help protect the entire school community.

Please be vigilant in recognising symptoms such as:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Sore throat
  • Runny or blocked nose
  • Headache
  • Fatigue

If your child exhibits any of these symptoms, it is best to keep them at home and consult with a healthcare professional if necessary.

By working together, we can minimise the spread of illnesses and maintain a healthy school environment.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in this matter.

Warm regards,

Terena Pope
