Well done everyone on another busy term of PE and Sport. We have wrapped up our Soccer and AFL focus units and we look forward to Athletics and Teeball in Term 3. We wish you an enjoyable and restful holiday break and we look forward to seeing you in 2 weeks!
Senior Gala Day – Winter Sports:
Congratulations to all senior students, who participated in our Senior Gala Day last Friday. Teams from Softball, Soccer, Touch Football, AFL, Netball and Lawn Bowls all competed at various locations against 9 other schools in our District. It was great to hear many wonderful experiences, skills, encouragement and sportsmanship during the sports report when students returned back to school. A big shout out to the staff and parent volunteers, who managed, coached, umpired and scored the games.
District Premiers from the Day:
- Mixed Netball A – undefeated
- Girls Netball A
- Mixed Netball B
- Mixed Touch Football - undefeated
We wish Mixed Netball A and the Girls Netball A teams all best as they have progressed through to Division, which is on Friday 24th July (Week 2, Term 3).
Uniforms: Any uniforms that were borrowed for Gala Day, can they please be washed and returned to school this week before the holiday break.

- Friday 7th August (week 4) – 3-6 House Athletics
- Friday 14th August (week 5) – 3-6 House Athletics (back up)
- Thursday 3rd September (week 8) – District Athletics
3-6 House Athletics Carnival:
One of our early major sporting events coming up in Term 3 is the 3-6 House Athletics Carnival out at Yarra Ranges Athletics Track. In order for this event to go ahead, we require the assistance of parent volunteers to help the day run smoothly. If you are able to assist, please email laura.yorke@education.vic.gov.au
