Sport and PE at SJV

Kingston Division Athletics Carnival

Congratulations to all of our students who represented SJV at the Kingston Division Athletics Carnival today. We had six students competing in a range of track and feild events:

• Joaquin in the 9/10-year-old Multi Class 800m, 200m and Long Jump
• Jacob in the 11-year-old 200m and the 100m
• Xavier S in the 11-year-old 1500m and 800m
• Olivia M in the 9/10-year-old Triple Jump
• The 11-year-old 4x100m relay team of Jacob, Lenny, Xavier and Christian.

We are looking forward to hearing how our athletes performed and wish them all the very best as they strive to progress through to the Southern Metropolitan Region Athletics Championships. Good luck!

Run Club

Run Club will continue in term 4. On Fridays, all grade 3-6 students are invited to join the Run Club. We meet at Walter Galt Reserve 8:15 AM, and students will be escorted to school once finished. Looking forward to seeing even more students get involved.
