Season 3 Thursday Representative Sport (Year 7 - 10)

School Swimming Trials - 27/11/24
We will be holding our Twilight Swimming Trials this year in preparation for next year. The scheduled date for this take place is on Wednesday 27/11/24 from 3:30pm - 6:30pm. More details will be shared shortly.
Primary Athletics
Over the last few weeks, we had students participate at the Parramatta Diocesan Primary Athletics Carnival.
A special mention to Cameron Cefai who was named as the Junior Boys Age Runner Up at the Diocesan Athletics Carnival.
We wish the following students the best of luck as they compete next week at the MacKillop Athletics Championships where they will compete against students from Catholic schools around the state of NSW.

Secondary Athletics
A couple of weeks ago we had several students compete at the PDSSSC Athletics Championships. It was great to see our largest team yet compete at this event.
A special mention goes to the following students for outstanding results at this event.

Clarise Hayes - 4th U15 Long Jump, 2nd U15 Shot Put
Salote Wolfgramm - 1st U16 Shot Put, 1st U16 Discus (new meet record achieved for both Shot Put and Discus)

All Schools Netball Tri-Series
Salote from Year 11 has had an impressive couple of weeks. Recently, she was selected for the U18 NSWCCC Netball team and this week participated in the All Schools Netball Tri-Series. Salote and her NSWCCC team won against the NSWCHS team and narrowly lost to the NSWCIS team, earning them the Runner-Up title. This is an outstanding achievement, and we congratulate Salote and her team for their outstanding result.
Stage 2 Touch Football Gala Day
We sent a group of boys and girls to participate in the Stage 2 Parramatta Diocesan Touch Football Gala Day. Both our teams excelled at this event and continued to improve throughout the day. Our Stage 2 boys team finished 2nd in their pool, while the girls finished 6th. A great effort by both teams! A special thanks to Mr Wilcox for his coaching on the day.
Stage 4 and 5 Boys Basketball Gala Day
Our Stage 4 and Stage 5 Boys Basketball teams participated in the PDSSSC Basketball Gala Day. The boys were highly competitive throughout the event and displayed excellent sportsmanship. Both teams experienced a mix of wins and losses, but they certainly challenged their opponents in some close games. A special thank you to Ms. Jacka for coaching both teams on this day.
