Parent Engagement

Parent Engagement Opportunities at Our School

Parent involvement remains one of the most powerful contributors to student success, and at Mount Beauty Secondary College, there are unique ways to stay connected.

Whether you can spare an afternoon or have skills you'd like to share, we'd love to hear from you. Current opportunities include:

  • Supporting students on our Snowsports and Sports program
  • Bringing your professional knowledge into the classroom
  • Assisting on excursions
  • Being involved with school council or other parent groups
  • Attending parent-teacher-student conferences

To let us know you would like to be involved, simply reach out to the front office, and we'll connect you with the right person. As a child safe school, we'll also guide you through the simple requirements to be part of our school community.

Term 3 Extended Absence

If your child is undertaking an extended absence during Term 3, we kindly ask that you notify us as soon as possible. This allows us to work with families to develop tailored Absence Learning Plans and maintain clear communication throughout the period of absence.

Please email Mitch Harris at mitchell.harris@education.vic.gov.au to inform us of any planned absences.
