The International Department kicked off 2025 by welcoming 11 new students from seven countries: China, Thailand, Germany, Iran, Vietnam, Mongolia, and the USA. This brings the total number of international students to 81 - 44 at the Collingwood Campus and 37 at the Wurun Senior Campus.

This week at Collingwood, students gathered to select outstanding peers for the leadership team. As a result, Ray Rupao Zhao was elected team captain, with the wonderful Nicole Lim and Charlotte Le as his assistants.

With fresh ideas and great enthusiasm, the new captain looks forward to working closely with the ISP support staff to organize various activities for international students, helping newcomers settle into their new environment and develop a strong sense of belonging and success at Collingwood College.

ELC City Excursion

Our ELC students went on their first excursion of the term—a city tour! We took a tram into the city and explored some of Melbourne’s most famous landmarks. We visited the State Library, Flinders Street Station, Federation Square, the Yarra River, and St. Paul’s Cathedral. On our way back, we hopped on the City Circle Tram, which was a fun experience for everyone. The weather was perfect, and we all had a great time. We can’t wait for our next excursion!
