The Victorian Government is delivering the School Saving Bonus (SSB) – a one-off support of $400 for eligible government school students from Prep to Year 12 in 2025. The SSB helps families cover the cost of uniforms, textbooks, excursions, activities and more.If you would like to use your bonus for school activities, you can allocate some or all of the bonus using the School Saving Bonus online system.

Unfortunately, Compass does not have a function to select the use of SSB or CSEF for payment of activities on events. Families who want to use School Savings Bonus (SSB) for upcoming activities, and have allocated ‘activities’ in the portal, please email this request to ssbfamily@collingwood.vic.edu.au

Who receives the School Saving Bonus 

The School Saving Bonus is available for parents and carers of all Victorian government school students from Prep to Year 12 in 2025, except for full-fee international students, home schooled students, TAFE students and students attending kindergarten in 2025.
