Walkathon Success: We’ve Reached $15,000!

What a fantastic afternoon we had at our 2026 SKiPPS Walkathon!

Our students worked incredibly hard to complete as many laps as possible, getting active, encouraging one another and showing wonderful perseverance right through to the finish.

A huge thank you to the parent volunteers who helped mark laps on wristbands, handed out fruit and provided icy poles for our tired participants. 

A special thank you to superstar DK Mat Gdanitz for keeping the energy high with a flawless set of tunes to keep us moving around the oval.

Your support helped make the afternoon such a success.

Most importantly, thank you to all the parents, grandparents, relatives, friends and neighbours who have generously supported our students. We are thrilled to announce that we have reached our $15,000 fundraising target, but we are not stopping there!

It’s not too late to donate

Our fundraising page remains open, so please continue sharing it with family and friends. Every additional donation will support our new basketball court bench seating project, as well as further improvements to our school buildings and grounds.

All donations are tax-deductible, and donors will receive an emailed receipt that can be provided to their accountant.

Over the coming days, we will count the total number of laps completed by each class. A special prize will be awarded to the class that completed the most laps together, as well as to the class that raises the most money.

Finally, a special thank you to Rachael O’Connor from Marshall White for her generous support of the event. 

Once all the laps have been counted, Rachael has agreed to donate 50 cents for every lap completed, giving our fundraising total another fantastic boost.
