Lakeside College Shines at Cardinia Division Cross Country Championships

Congratulations to Rihaan S and Mikaela V for proudly representing Lakeside College at the Cardinia Division Cross Country Championships held on May 28th! Both athletes demonstrated incredible effort and sportsmanship throughout the competition, inspiring everyone with their dedication and determination.

We are immensely proud of Rihaan and Mikaela for their outstanding performance and for showcasing the spirit of Lakeside College.

A heartfelt thank you also goes to our fantastic secondary helpers who supported the event and guided our younger students on the day. Your contribution helped make the day a great success.

Celebrating Our Team’s Spirit and Sportsmanship

Congratulations to our outstanding intermediate students who competed on Thursday 22 May, at the Interschool Soccer competition! Their teamwork, dedication and positive attitude truly stood out on the field, making us all proud.

Beyond showcasing impressive skills, the team demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship and unity throughout the day, representing our school with great pride and respect.

A special thank you goes to Coach (Mr K) for his guidance and to all the students for their effort and enthusiasm in wearing our colours with pride.

AFLW Stars Inspire Year 5 & 6 Students!

Our Year 5 and 6 students had an unforgettable experience in week 5, welcoming four superstar Richmond AFLW players — Mon Conti, Montana McKinnon, Issy Bacon and Mackenzie Ford for a special visit!

During an exciting 45-minute Q&A and signing session, students had the chance to ask questions, hear empowering stories and collect autographs from some of the AFLW’s finest.

A huge thank you to these incredible athletes for sharing their time, passion and inspiring words their visit left a lasting impression and reminded us all of the power of sport and determination!
