Dempster Brothers Enjoy Success at the 2026 Victorian State Track Championships
Two years on from committing themselves to consistent training, discipline, and a love of cycling, brothers Jed and Rhett Dempster have achieved outstanding success at the 2026 Victorian State Track Championships, held on 21–22 February.
In the Under 13 Boys events, Jed Dempster claimed gold in both the Flying 200 (Sprint) and Time Trial, demonstrating outstanding speed and power on the track. He also secured a silver medal in the Individual Pursuit, posting an impressive 1500m time of 2:16.537.
Not to be outdone, younger brother Rhett Dempster excelled in the Under 11 Boys category, earning gold in the Flying 200 (Sprint) with a winning time of 15.620 seconds, and gold in the Time Trial. He further added to his medal tally with a silver in the Individual Pursuit, recording a strong 1:34.857 over 1000m.
