Lunchtime Clubs at CGPS

This term, our lunchtime clubs have been buzzing with energy, creativity and excitement! Students have explored new interests and expanded their friendship circles.
At Carlton Gardens, we’ve been working with students to create a range of engaging new clubs. This term, we introduced Reading Club, Writing Club and Trivia Club. Our Reading Club regulars even enjoyed a special visit to the Kathleen Syme Library, where they explored new books and sparked lively conversations about their favourite stories.
We also launched several other exciting clubs, including LEGO Club, Yoga Club and Cars Club. A huge thank you to the parents who generously donated cars. Our young enthusiasts have loved racing, building and collaborating, making Cars Club a standout success!
This term, we were also fortunate to have Art Club run by Kids Unlimited, where students developed new creative skills and explored a range of artistic techniques. It has been wonderful to see their creativity shine as they experimented with different materials and ideas.
Students have also taken the lead in running clubs. Some students ran Sticker Club, teaching others how to make their own stickers. Others led Chess Club, guiding their peers through exciting games of strategy. Disco Club brought energy and creativity, with students choosing engaging songs and encouraging everyone to get moving!
It has been fantastic to see the wide range of interests and skills on display, whether students are creating, competing, leading or dancing. We can’t wait to see what new ideas and energy next term will bring!
