Principal Report

As we reach the end of Term 1, I want to take a moment to reflect on what has been a vibrant and productive start to the year. The energy across the school has been wonderful, and it has been a pleasure to see students settling into their new classrooms, building friendships, and engaging deeply in their learning.

This term has been full of rich opportunities. From literacy and numeracy growth, to camp preparation, excursions and sporting events, students have embraced challenges and demonstrated resilience, curiosity and kindness. Our staff have worked incredibly hard to establish strong learning routines and supportive classroom communities, and we are already seeing the positive impact of this work.

A highlight of the term has been the way our students continue to model our school values each day. Whether it is supporting a peer in the playground, striving to improve in the classroom, or representing the school at events, their efforts make us proud.

As we head into the term break, I encourage families to take the opportunity to rest, recharge and enjoy time together. A break from routine helps students return refreshed and ready for the learning ahead in Term 2.

I would also like to thank our families for your ongoing support. Education works best when schools and families work in partnership, and we greatly value the trust and collaboration we share with our community. A gentle reminder that parent contributions play an important role in supporting the programs, resources and opportunities we are able to offer our students. If you have not yet finalised your contribution for the year, we encourage you to do so when convenient. Every contribution makes a meaningful difference.

Thank you again for a fantastic start to the year. I wish all families a safe and enjoyable holiday break, and we look forward to welcoming students back for another exciting term of learning.
