Principal’s message

Dear Parents and Carers
Welcome to term 2 - we have been so fortunate to have returned with such beautiful Autumnal weather.
FUNDRAISING AND SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT
Thanks to our fundraising efforts, we have continued to improve the look and feel of our spaces in the main building. Over the holidays the hallways and stairwells were painted. A new ramp was also installed outside of FLV and FKW. We also began the roll out of new furniture in our learning spaces with 2HM being the first recipients. Over the next 6 months, we will begin to focus our efforts on the upstairs area, with window replacement, painting and carpet replacement being scheduled.
The Colour Fun Run was a huge success, enjoyed by all students, with the added bonus of raising almost $29000. Thank you to the families who donated their prizes to Djirra - we expect prizes to arrrive mid-term. It's not too late to get tickets for our Comedy Night on Friday 15th May. Click here to get your tickets.
AFTER SCHOOL ARRANGEMENTS
We understand that parents/carers may run late to pick up their children or arrangements may be forgotten by students. Please discuss with your child/ren that they should go to the office if they are unsure of after school arrangements and office staff will seek clarification for them. Please call the office if you are running late so that we can notify your child and their classroom teacher.
FOUNDATION SIBLING ENROLMENTS 2027
Please send in your enrolment form for Foundation 2027 siblings. Forms are available at the office or via Compass.
