Weeks 1 & 2 in the Kitchen Garden.
Welcome back to Term 3.
What an amazing week of planting we have had with our students, planting up in
many of our school gardens. Once again St. Aś participated in PlanetArks - Tree Planting Day, we planted over 200 native grasses and trees in our school grounds. Donated native plants from Frankston Council were planted in our Prayer garden, Bush Tucker Garden, Italian garden and Pond area. These future shrubs will provide habitat for local wildlife, prevent soil erosion and provide beautiful looking gardens. Well done gardeners.
A big thank you to our dedicated students who take care of our school animals during garden classes and lunchtime garden clubs.
We are also looking for parent helpers to assist in kitchen or garden. Parents from prep to 4s are happy to contact us to assist.
