Attendance Matters

Attendance Matters – Edition 7
Focus: Unexplained Student Absences
As we progress through Term 3, we’d like to remind families to check Compass for any unexplained student absences. If your student has been absent and no attendance note has been submitted, please ensure these absences are explained as a matter of urgency. Where applicable, please also include a medical certificate. Our ongoing target has been a minimum attendance rate of 95%, and we sincerely thank our students, parents, and carers for the continued effort and commitment shown toward achieving this goal.
If you have any questions or need to discuss an absence, your student's Home Group teacher is your first point of contact.
Please remember:
- If your student is absent or arriving late, an attendance note must be submitted via Compass.
- For medical absences, a medical certificate is required. This can be uploaded to Compass or handed in to Student Services upon your student’s return.
- For missed SAC’s, a medical certificate is required. This can be uploaded to Compass or handed in to Senior Admin upon your student’s return.
