Wellbeing At McAuleyÂ

đ Wellbeing Week at School đ
Last week, our school proudly celebrated Wellbeing Week.Â
The children took part in a range of exciting activities designed to support their mental health, physical wellbeing, and emotional resilience.
Throughout the week, each class explored the importance of kindness, gratitude, and positive thinking. It was wonderful to hear the thoughtful ideas the children shared about being a good friend and showing empathy.
We also made time for mindfulness activities, including breathing exercises, quiet reflection, and relaxing story sessions. These calm moments helped us think about how we manage our feelings and find peaceful pauses in our busy days.
Some of the activities classes engaged in were: mindful coloring, walk and talk, meditation, calming music, breathing exercises, journal entries, circle time and yoga.
Wellbeing Week reminded us all that looking after our mental health is just as important as looking after our physical health. We are incredibly proud of how enthusiastically the children embraced the activities and demonstrated our school values.
Thank you for your continued support at home in promoting positive wellbeing. Together, we can help our children grow into happy, confident, and resilient learners.
