Last Friday, our senior school students competed in the MPS Annual Athletics Carnival at Willinda Park.

Firstly, we would like to extend a huge thank you to our 18 incredible volunteers who gave their time to support the day. Quite simply, this event would not be possible without you.

From arriving early to help set up, running events, keeping score, cheering on our students, and staying behind to pack everything away, your generosity and commitment made the day a success.

We are incredibly grateful for your time, enthusiasm, and willingness to help. Thank you for everything you did to support our students and school community!

A huge thank you also goes to our incredible teaching staff. Your support, dedication, and commitment never go unnoticed. Whether you're in the classroom every day or going above and beyond at events like our Athletics Carnival, your enthusiasm and willingness to support our students is truly appreciated. Thank you for all that you do. We are so grateful for everything you contribute to our school community!

Lastly, a massive congratulations to all of our students in years 3-6. What an amazing day we had. Thank you for your effort, support and enthusiasm. Your efforts did not go un noticed. Congratulations Monty! Until next year!

                                                                   P.E Positives

Congratulations to Sunday in year 4. She is the first student to receive Mrs Costa's P.E Positive award. Sunday stopped to help an injured competitor during a sprint race at our Athletics Carnival. She displayed a "RAINBOW of positivity" by helping others before her own placing in a race. Congratulations Sunday!

MPS proudly hosted 5 AFLW Collingwood players this week. A huge thank you to AFL Vic and the Collingwood Magpies for organising this truly inspiring session.

Thank you Liv Lewis, Ari Hetherington, Dominique Carbone, Sabrina Frederick and Brittany Bonnici. You are truly inspiring athletes, and the mindset, determination, and resilience you shared with us today were incredibly motivating.We are so grateful you took the time to come and visit our school today. Thank you for inspiring us to believe in ourselves, work hard, and peruse our goals with confidence and passion.

Congratulations to nine of our MPS student netballers who represented our school at a Netball Victoria competition this week.

This is the first time MPS students have represented the school in netball at this level, and we are incredibly proud of their teamwork, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm throughout the day.

Well done, girls! You represented MPS beautifully and should be very proud of your achievement.

A big thank you to Paul and Ali who helped in the process of ordering and purchasing our new MPS Basketball Interschool Sport Singlets. Don't they look incredible!!! Another amazing purchase for our sport program at MPS.
