Years 5 & 6 Sport

All teams had a bye this week for Interschool Sport. We had some fun in the sun playing football, soccer, netball and volleyball. Everyone got involved and enjoyed some time with their friends. 

Hockey 7s Gala Day

On Wednesday, 10th June, twenty of our year 6 students took part in our Annual Hockey Gala Day at the Greensborough Hockey Field. All students had been training leading up to the day. Both teams had some hard-fought games. The boys' team worked hard and displayed some great plays and sportsmanship. They lost their first 3 games; however, they saved their best for last, winning against our local rival St Mary's 2-1. Our girls' team showed improvement as the day went on. It was great to see the girls working together and the teamwork they demonstrated. They lost their first game, drew the next 2 and won their last game, also beating St Mary's 4-0. Well done to both teams on a great day. We would like to thank Mr Maxfield's son, Logan, who gave up his time to teach us the rules of hockey and came along on the day to coach both teams. 

Swimming Programs

Just a reminder that our 3/4 and 5/6 swimming program will commence in Term 3. 

3/4 swimming will take place at Jump Swim School in Whittlesea. 5/6 swimming will be at King Swim in Mernda. Both these swim schools are indoors, so it will not affect the swimming programs. Please check, go to the event in Compass, give permission, and make payment asap.
