Shade Structure Project Update

Construction works for our shade structure project have begun. This work will continue throughout the remainder of the term and is expected to be completed by the start of the 2026 school year.

The planned improvements include;

• Two large shelters, each measuring 12m by 12m with seating for 30 students, to be built on the agricultural farm and in the playground near the cricket nets.

   

• A roof installation over the concrete area near the lift on the Leavenworth Street side of the school.

   

• Ten smaller shelters with seating, to be constructed around the school grounds, most of which will be near the school ovals.

   

Please note that some playground areas will be restricted during the construction period for safety reasons. Additionally, one entry point to the school on Lethbridge Drive will be closed for part of the construction time. We ask for your cooperation and understanding during these necessary changes.

We appreciate your patience and support as we work to make these important improvements to our school environment, which will provide students with more comfortable outdoor learning and recreational spaces.
